There is a young couple that lives in the house across the street from me. They have a little boy that's maybe 2 or 3 and a new baby.
When I came home from work yesterday they were still hard at work on the gas line and they were working on the other side of the street. The dad was sitting under a tree that sits close to the road. He had the baby in a carrier and the little boy was entertaining himself watching the men working. What made this incredibly cute was that he was wearing a hard hat. It was the best thing I saw all day.

Little boys really love workmen with big trucks! When our son was little, his life goal was to be a garbage man.

almost all little boys are into construction stuff and i bet he was cute in the hard hat. my friend Rich use to ride his electric wheel chair next door and sit and watch them build the Trauma Unit on the hospital, he was out there for hours for many months, the crew gifted him one of their hardhats to wear while he watched, he made friends with them as he did with every one. I still miss him so much,

I used to walk baby Colin up to the corner after his nap so that he could watch the trucks go by. And when they were doing construction on the mall, we'd sit and watch the diggers, dump trucks and graters for hours. I'm glad to see that people still take time for simple things like that. Good dad!

I'm a senior and I love watching construction - of course, that can incur rather strange looks, I usually amble off at that point...
Boys never outgrow this either...but I like to watch workers too! lol Have a good weekend. I finally got inspired to get my junk journal out and work on it. I have bits and bobs all over the place! lol
