I did so little on my day off yesterday that I can't even recall what I did do. There was one terrifying thing though that I do remember. I had to make a trip to Walmart and on my way, up ahead in the distance I saw someone run out into the road and then get hit by a car coming from the opposite direction. It was a younger boy and there were quite a few other kids right behind him. The driver who hit him was a young man who looked totally frantic when I got up to his car. I was quite a ways back when it happened but from that distance it didn't look to me like he could have stopped in time to avoid it. I can't imagine what made the young boy run right out like that. I didn't stop because there were already quite a few people who had and there really wasn't anything I could have done. When I went back through everyone was gone. I said a little prayer for both the child and the driver.

Yikes, I hope you don't have nightmares. Are you going to read the paper or watch the news to see if and how the boy survived? If you find out, let us know.
I hope the boy is all right and my heart goes out to the driver too.
Terrifying in all accounts!
Oh no...do you know if he survived? What city was this. It may be in the news.
Thst sure would have put a damper on the day...woukdvhave been hard to think of anything else.
Scary to see and would certainly be hard to forget. Hopefully the pedestrian and driver are ok.
I hope everyone is OK.
They have my prayers also. I hope the young boy will be okay. Such a horrifying thing to come across Ann. That must have been a horrible shock.
How horrible. When I see kids anywhere while driving I always slow down. You just never know when they will dart out in the street.
Prayers that everyone is okay.
Have a fabulous day, Ann. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥
Oh no! I hope he's ok and the young man who hit him is ok too.
Gentle hugs right back to you
Ann- that's awful! wow. But I'm so happy to see you for real!
