Who's that knockinq on my door

Yesterday between 4:30 and 5 there was a knock at my door. I opened it to find the young family across the street standing there. Their little boy held up a small package and said Merry Christmas. such a sweet thing to do and it really made my day.

Awwwwww... isn't that just wonderful?!! Ya know, my mom *always* bought little birthday gifts & Christmas gifts for the neighbor children. There was only a few... and the gifts weren't anything big... but it was always a special thing that she remembered them. They too then remembered her as well. On April 3rd every year, there were little knocks on the door and sweet little gifts handed through the door with "Happy Birthday Mrs. ____" declared. When mom moved and came to live with us... and then when she died... there were many tears in the eyes of those children-now-adults! ~Andrea XOXOXO

That was really nice. I made a few reindeer ornaments for my neighbors and took them around a week or so ago. Just something simple but fun for them to put on their tree.

That's so sweet...yesterday when I was waiting for a bus in a street some 10minutes from home. I saw this dude with envelopes going to neighbors on the same side or over the other side and putting them in letterboxes. Made me realize I don't live in that kind of neighborhood at all.. they look like established homes.
