I've seen a lot of police activity while sitting at my desk at work.
The one day there was several sitting in an empty lot. One had it's lights flashing but the others did not. I have no idea what they were doing as I couldn't see anything other than their cars.
He pulled up alongside a car in traffic, lights on and pulled them over into the Country Fair parking lot. He took care of them, pulled out going the opposite direction and immediately put his lights on again. He pulled a second car over across the street in the grocery store parking lot. When he was done with that one he pulled up next to the stores sign and parked in the shade. He couldn't have been there more than a minute before his lights went on again and he was off after another person.
I didn't get a picture of him but took a picture of the sign and asked AI to add the cop.

Good grief! Maybe they are having a contest to see who can nab the most offenders.
Perhaps he had a quota to fill. We've noticed speed traps towards the end of the month when records have to be completed.
Emmmm your reluctance to use a cane, is like a friend of mine, I use one and a rollator, because I'd rather walk with confidence than fall flat on my face!
Oh a speed trap...one sitting a few blocks a with speed thingie and the others ready to chase.

Sounds like a speed trap to me. They aren't suppose to do that but I see it in certain places all the time.

I used to see them in one place all the time, usually at the bottom of a hill.
I like to see the speeders get pulled over in town. Some really speed through!!

We are having a lot of police these days too - it's a summer slowdown. There are everywhere.
Most of the time when we see heavy police presence around here it's. because they haven't met their quota for the month...lol
You have a lot of entertainment from what I see in this photo. I love tow watch HUMANS. I wish he would come do a speed trap on our street. Almost everyone that passes our house is at least 10 to 15 over the speed limit. Speeder deserve a ticket.
That's interesting. I wonder why. So you haven't heard anything about it from anyone?
