Too much wine too much song wonder how I got along
I was trying to come up with something to do with the weather. We went from 54 degrees on Tuesday back to snow on Wednesday. While scouting through the archives I found this picture. Thinking of seasons such as the never ending winter and seeing the wine made me think of the song Seasons In The Sun by Terry Jacks. I always loved that song.

Me too! One of my favourites while I was in school and you've just taken me way back there! No mean feat as I'm now in my 50s
That was one of my favorite songs too, geez, that was the year I graduated high school.
totally forgot about that old song, and glad i forgot about that old HAIR DOOOO.. ha ha. love the photo
Love the texture on your photo Ann! Nice shot!
hughugs

Okay - I remember that song! Oh me oh my. That was a blast from the past.

We're leaving shortly and just wanted to tell you to stay warm and I'll talk to you and Duke when return. My best to Duke. :)
That is a great song. I do hate the cold weather so I could use a season in the sun right about now.
I wish the weather would make up its mind. My sinuses are going nuts. Maybe I ought to join you with a little song and dance:)
I am going to watch this video...i was born that year! And grew up singing this song......all my life!

I have wine glasses just like that - unfortunately no wine. PA only has state-owned-run wine/liquor stores - so stupid! We have to rent a car to get to one (can't exactly carry wine home on the bus - a little heavy & bulky). So uncivilized!
I remember that song, but never in a million years would have guessed who sang it. He must have been a one hit wonder!
Rue can mean many things in many languages but in cooking, the flour/fat concoction used as a base for sauces is spelled "roux"
I love what you did with the pic.
I was born in 1969, but my parents were always playing music and so I know this song. And I really like it! So much music that we forget about. Great choice Ann! The weather here in Florida has been so strange. That's probably why I've had so many sinus headaches. In the morning I'm wearing boots and a coat and in the afternoon it's time for shorts and flip flops!
Oh I love that song too and wine too. What fun. Sounds like you are having a good day or evening or something. Take care.
It's been a very long time since I've heard that song! We've had so much rain it's flooding everywhere so I'm thinking a glass of wine on a tropical beach would be perfect right now!
I'd forgotten that song too.
I'd love to get back to that 54 degree weather.
Oh my goodness... now I feel really old... did we really have hair like that - lol!!!
Hugs, antonella :-)
You're having up and down weather too then Ann. It all changes from day to day ... each morning is a surprise - hope tomorrow is a good one!
Love the photo and 54 degree weather!
Hadn't thought about that song for years and years... Mercy me.... Blast from the past for sure!!!!!!
Enjoy that wine ---while this crazy weather changes daily...
Hugs,
Betsy
Ugh, it is indeed a good song if you don't actually listen to the lyrics.
Yes I agree a very good song. I like singing alone to songs like this in the car.
I was in college... the few years I actually knew some pop songs... but I always liked that one. so sad
When I read the nam eof the song it didn't ring any bells...but as soon as I heard it...it's all coming back to me now! I knew all the words...thanks for the blast from the past!
That hair-do...oh my goodness!
