Seasons in the sun

Too much wine too much song wonder how I got along
I was trying to come up with something to do with the weather. We went from 54 degrees on Tuesday back to snow on Wednesday. While scouting through the archives I found this picture. Thinking of seasons such as the never ending winter and seeing the wine made me think of the song Seasons In The Sun by Terry Jacks. I always loved that song.

Me too! One of my favourites while I was in school and you've just taken me way back there! No mean feat as I'm now in my 50s

That is a great song. I do hate the cold weather so I could use a season in the sun right about now.

I wish the weather would make up its mind. My sinuses are going nuts. Maybe I ought to join you with a little song and dance:)

I have wine glasses just like that - unfortunately no wine. PA only has state-owned-run wine/liquor stores - so stupid! We have to rent a car to get to one (can't exactly carry wine home on the bus - a little heavy & bulky). So uncivilized!

I remember that song, but never in a million years would have guessed who sang it. He must have been a one hit wonder!

Rue can mean many things in many languages but in cooking, the flour/fat concoction used as a base for sauces is spelled "roux"

I love what you did with the pic.
I was born in 1969, but my parents were always playing music and so I know this song. And I really like it! So much music that we forget about. Great choice Ann! The weather here in Florida has been so strange. That's probably why I've had so many sinus headaches. In the morning I'm wearing boots and a coat and in the afternoon it's time for shorts and flip flops!

It's been a very long time since I've heard that song! We've had so much rain it's flooding everywhere so I'm thinking a glass of wine on a tropical beach would be perfect right now!

Ugh, it is indeed a good song if you don't actually listen to the lyrics.
