Snow Friends

Looks like the snow is trying to make friends here in my neck of the woods. The blizzard warning started Tuesday night and officially went into effect at 11am yesterday morning. I don't know what time it actually started but by the time I got out of work yesterday it was in full swing.
This morning I'll be starting my day early so that I can dig out the car before I head to work. A total of 14 inches is expected from this storm but snow is in the forecast for the next week.

I wish I was a bear. I could be hibernating right now.

Oh, so sorry you have to drive and work in this. We only got two inches.

No snow here in Ireland, it's rainy and dull. Hope you'll be ok this morning, not nice having to get out driving in the snow.

I love the snow, but not to drive in. Take care and drive carefully. Much love Jille xx

Oh my, considering the kind of winter weather you-all usually have, a blizzard warning around there is indeed ominous. I hope Duke feels up to digging you-all out in time for apple-pickin' next fall so that you can fry me up a batch of fresh apple fritters with a thick layer of clear frosting. If not, I suppose I will survive. Sigh.

The photo is delightful, the weather not so much. Do be careful...but I'm sure by now you know how to drive in snow - still - carefully going!

Nope, not living in snow country. Ever. Do be careful though. I know you are a pro in this type of weather, but still.

Have a terrific day and stay warm. My best to my buddy Duke. :)

Hi Ann, Cannot believe that you got that much snow --and then have to get out and drive in it... Yipes!!! We got a tiny bit here --just a dusting, but it has gotten bitterly cold today...

Be careful out there.
Hugs,
Betsy

lol - a bear huh? I know what you mean... We didn't get too much snow, but it was more than expected and the sleet and wind were not anticipated...

Hope you are having a wonderful day!

Hugs, antonella :-)

Boy - that is one heck of a lot of snow - I don't know if that is a good thing or not.

Yuck on all of the snow! I hope that it doesn't stick around too long. Drive safe.

Don't you mean you'd be up early sitting next to Duke while drinking a warm mug of hot cocoa and watching Wade clean off your car?

Dee said...

WoW...14 inches is a lot of snow....What does Duke think of it?

It's been snowing all day here! I like it but I don't have to go out in it - just thinking of it makes me go brrr. I'm sorry you do! Hope it isn't too bad.

Greeting from Florida,

14" of snow! oh no. I checked the weather for next week in PA and I don't want to go back. It is in the 70 in Florida!
