The truth

I would prefer to write about positive, upbeat things. The truth is I'm not feeling either today and it makes it hard to write a post. I could skip it but I set out to make this the year that I write a post EVERY single day and I'm not about to blow it just because my mood stinks. So yes, today I am sad. I was sad yesterday and I may be sad again tomorrow. The bright side is that this too shall pass. In the meantime here's a random picture from the archives.

I'm sorry to hear you are sad. Praying you have a better day today, friend. I adore this photo of your craft. I once had a lot of spools of thread that had belonged to grandma. This would have been a cute way to use them. xo

If there is some specific reason you are sad, I hope you can resolve it, or accept it, if you have to, and then go forward. If you are sad for no specific reason, just life, you know, well that will pass - I go through that emotion often, having a good laugh usually helps. Either way, having a good laugh usually helps.

That's a very pretty little thing you made. I say there is so much detail and it must have been a lot of work and you will say "Oh no, it didn't take me anytime at all" So many things are easy for you that would be difficult for me and I can only admire your handicrafts.

I'm sorry you are sad, but I know you'll be fine when it's time.

Have a fabulous unsad day, Ann. Big hug to you and tons of scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥

Ann, Sorry that you are having a sad day, wish there was a way that I could turn that frown upside-down :) I am very happy to hear that despite the changes in Blogger, that you will not stop blogging. I would be sad about that :(
Have a sweet and fun filled weekend.
Connie :)

Uh oh. I hope that you are not sad for too long. But sometimes, it is okay to just be sad..whether you have good reason or not.

Don't worry about posting every day. In the end, it doesn't matter how many you post...but that you enjoy it when you do post. Don't pressure yourself needlessly.

Hope tomorrow is a better day, friend.

That's adorable. ((Hugs)) I don't post often because I'm sad and have nothing to write about. I have this big long soapbox post written and I'm just going to delete it. Not that we can't share the sad things that happen in our lives because it's important to be real here just like you are today.

Sounds like you need to join me at the pool and do a few cannon balls splashing everyone.

I'm sorry you're feeling sad. I hope tomorrow is a better day. I've been posting less and less and it's been completely freeing. The stress of coming up with posts is gone and now it's fun again. So, if you miss a day or four, it's okay. We understand.

I've always liked those kinds of flowers. I had an Etsy friend make me some awhile back and they still make me smile.

Thanks Pam, I know it will.

I believe this time around it's a combination of both. Yes, it will either be resolved or I will accept it and the just because sadness will pass as well. Laughter is the best medicine.
You made me laugh already when I read how our conversation would go.

Thanks, you're right I will be

You turned the frown upside down just by leaving your comment Connie. Thanks so much

It won't last long, it never does. Actually, forcing myself to blog helps me. It gets me thinking about other things. Blogging is sort of like a therapy for me. Plus the every day post is a personal challenge.

No cannon balls for me but watching you would sure be entertaining.

Thanks. It'll pass soon. For me the posting every day is kind of like therapy. If I make myself sit down to write a post it makes me focus on something other than what is bothering me.
