Warm and fuzzy.

The temperatures are warm and these are fuzzy.

I grabbed some of these from the house Wade lived in before we got married. They haven't spread much over the years but they come back each year and spread out a little more.

Love those soft fuzzy leaves.

Lamb's Ear! It has to be felt to be believed. Sandra just said that all the blog sites have to do the same thing, including Wordpress.

My late mother loved these plants...she could not see but she could feel these velvety leaves. I read that long ago, folks used these leaves like band-aids on cuts etc.

The leaves are amazing and you're right. you have to feel them for yourself to believe how truly soft they are.
The new laws weren't the reason for my thoughts to switch to Wordpress. I just thought I would give something new a try. Since I don't have that many people who read here any more it wouldn't be like I would lose a ton of followers either.

it doesn't need a flower on top to be pretty, I like the fuzziness a lot... I have never had them but see them every where.

I have always liked those plants. Never had any but they are neat. Have a great day Ann.

Lovely photos and - I actually knew the name of that plant! Aside from the very obvious, I know nothing about plants but I knew these. (I have a premium WP account now and I really like how easy it is - it has major functions I will never use because I am not building a brand or a business but I'm finding it fun to use - a first in all the years I've been trying to use it.)

Another version of my lambs ear! Not sure the correct name but this is what I have always heard them called. If these are the ones I am thinking of they get little purple flowers where mine grows on a stalk with purple flowers. I have had this type also and lost it. Course you know I love anything purple in the garden.

Never have seen them before today. I don't get out much.

Enjoy your day off. Big hug to you and tons of scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥

Thanks. I don't know many plant names other than the most common but this is an easy one.
I tried again with WP and I'm still clueless.

Lambs ear is what I've always heard them called also. This do get the stalk with the purple flowers. Hopefully I can remember to take another picture when they flower.

I don't know why you want to switch, this works for you, and if they fix comments the way you want, why knock yourself out. Keep the WP blog to play with, if you like to play that way (I do, but that's me) and then maybe use it for something completely different. You have a lot of readers, why confuse them, and again, Blogger works for you, why switch?
