Rainy days and Mondays

I haven't been very good at blogging lately. I write my posts the day before they publish and then schedule them to publish at 12:30 a.m.  Since Sunday was a rather busy day, I just never got around to putting a post together.

I worked until 1:30 and then shortly after I got home my son and his family came over. After they left I was chilling for a while and then my daughter came over to hang out. By the time she left I was ready for pajamas and some snoozing on the couch.

Monday was cold and rainy. The song may say that rainy days and Mondays always get me down but I don't feel that way about either. Of course if it's days upon days of rain then I'm not quite so happy. I may not have gotten outside but I did point my camera out the window. The tree in my next door neighbors yard is looking quite pretty.

Just look at all the green we have here now.

I want to thank you all for all the Mothers Day wishes on Sunday. I hope everyone had a great day and here's to a wonderful rest of the week.

I like that out the window dripping wet flower shot. beautiful. I don't mind a day of rain but I do mind days and days of it... sounds like your Sunday/Monday was good. yay. I do the same thing, set mine to publish at 12:30 am... my problem is I put them in drafts, find something I like better and they sit there for a week or so and then when I go to set them to publish I pick the wrong date and it publishes in the past and shows up today. yowsa how many times have I done that.

I love both shots...like you, I don't like days and days of rain. But a day of it here and there! Specially in the hot summers.

I didn't even blog on Sunday. We had a long cruise back from Benicia and then the drive home after we unloaded the boat. It was a great weekend.

Have a fabulous day my friend. Big hug to you and tons of scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥

Sounds like a nice Mother's Day for you. Thanks for mentioning that song. It brings back memories. I've always like it.

It's still cold and rainy here, I'm freezing my toes off - no heat available. They promise May weather later in the week and then a few days of 80's. I can live without the 80's but looking forward to the 70's. (And maybe a relief from the rain - oh the rain!)

Seeing the green instead of empty branches just thrills me

I'm glad you had a good weekend. The unloading once you get back is the worst part

The forecast on my phone says 60s for the next few days but rain. At least it will be warmer the few days of 40s but I need sunshine in the worst way.

Don't you just love the water droplet pics? I always have, esp if you stand there and WAIT......WAIT for that drop to let go of the tip of that leave and catch it as it falls. Glad you had a great Mothers Day. Me...took the week off to get somethings done and have done...NOTHING!!!!

I like the drops of water hanging on the edge of the green leaves.

wonderful rain shots...what I have grown to hate and here in Auckland, New Zealand - it's common (any season) is 4 seasons in one day!

The photo of the pink flowering tree is really beautiful! And yes, everything is very green right now with all of the rain we have been having. If it just all stays green through the summer when we usually have a drought.
