Through the window

It's still cold and gloomy around here so I've got more through the window shots.

This tree in one of my neighbors back yards is so pretty right now.

This is in the front yard of the neighbor across the street.

I'm hoping that when I get home from work today it's dry enough and I have enough energy to mow. We shall see.

I love the trees this time of year! I wish I lived somewhere where the trees were in bloom all summer. With this cold, rainy spring, the flowers on the trees are lasting a really long time--one bonus, I guess.

Be careful with the lawn today. It's going to be heavy!

I'm always so grateful to folks who decorate outside their homes. I know they don't see it too often but others do. Your view is gorgeous, Ann. Our warm-up has arrived so hopefully yours is soon to follow. Our weather was absolutely god-forsaking miserable until now... and the 10 day forecast looks mighty nice. I hope yours will too, VERY soon! Love, Andrea xoxo

That tree looks like the one outside my window - a Japanese dogwood. I like yard tchotkes - when we rented a house in Alexandria I decorated the front lawn with those tacky pink flamingo thingies and a couple of incredibly tacky gnomes - I loved it, don't know what the neighbors thought - Old Town Alexandria is not exactly pink flamingo/garden gnome territory.

It's gloomy here too. It's supposed to rain today and tomorrow. We'll wee. That tree is most beautiful.

Have a fabulous day, Ann. Big hug to you and lots of lovies to Gibbs. ♥♥♥

You live in a beautiful neighborhood! Don't overdo, maybe wait till you have a day off to mow.

When they did the drain pipe through the back yards a few years back they took out the pear tree in my back yard. I hated that tree most of the time but in the spring it was so pretty.

I've never been big on pink flamingos but I do like gnomes.

I was going to skip the mowing because I was really tired. But then I got home and the sun was shining and said just get it done and over with. So now I'm REALLY tired...lol

here I just have fences...some of them in quite sad repair - if there was no fence across the ROW/drive - I would see I think a lot of very strange things...the guy has no back yard at all, about a metre between the infill house and the fence...

SO pretty. Our trees have bloomed a long time about. We were going through blackberry winter this past few days. Bushes are doing blooming thing now.
