Hydrangea

A month or so ago I noticed that my hydrangea plant was looking rather sad. The frost had gotten it and I wasn't sure if it was going to do anything at all this year. Well I took another look at it and it's doing fantastic

If you've been around for a while, then you may have heard me mention before that this plant is rather special to me. My dad planted it for me the first year I moved into my house. It was from one of the plants that he had growing in his yard. My dad was an excellent gardener. That's a trait he did not pass down to me.

It IS doing well, and is about the sme size of the one we have in front of our house! Mine is also special, as it was given to my Mom when she was dying. Such a coincidence!

so glad it came back, it has really pretty blooms each year. Mother had 3 of these and hers were about 6 feet high and the 3 covered the whole back of the house. same color as yours. I don't remember how they got there or who put them there, they were there all of my life as far back as i can remember and the side and front had giant azalea bushes. Daddy did not pass his green thumb on to me and mother did not pass her cooking genes on to me either

Beautiful and I'm glad it bounced back. I'm sure there are ways to help keep it warmer in the winter months.

Have a fabulous day, Ann. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥

Aww I'm so glad it's doing good now! That late frost we had made me worry about two of my plants too but they ended up doing fine!
