And so it begins

I had to run to Walmart yesterday for a couple things and surprise surprise guess what I saw I'm not one for seeing Christmas decoration show up this early in the stores but it's a bit like a train wreck you don't want to see it but you can't help looking

this explains why early Saturay morning, i went to garden shop for pool supplies and the shelves were empty and the expanse of floor was all i saw. they chemicals were out in the store by the makeup. i bet it now is full just like this. before Halloween and TG... the thing is that anyone that wants that giant ugy santa pays for it what a whole christmas for our family of 4 costs. trees are hundreds of dollars. people have to get an early start. it amazes me the cost of all this junk

We did our grocery shopping yesterday and we saw a lot of Thanksgiving, but no Christmas. I'm not ready for Christmas music either.

Have a fabulous day, Ann. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥

I'm glad I don't shop inside Walmart any more. We still just pick our groceries up, so much easier!

People are starting to decorate big time for Halloween in mid-September. What's up with that?

Oh my goodness, earlier and earlier! I was surprised to see Halloween decorations in our neighborhood last week.

They do start earlier and earlier every year, it seems. I still like the day after Thanksgiving as a starting point. Not to say that I don't put up lights outside before Thanksgiving, but I don't turn them on until the day after :)

Like I said on Facebook, why not drag out the Easter stuff as well!

Recently I saw a comment on some social media - that maybe if we did Christmas here and now, we got swing into the new year, next week and the Pandemic would have gone as well, particularly as 2022 is being touted when it will all be done with...so maybe that's what happened at your store! Got the message...2022 is coming next week! :-)

Oh my! That is just a tad bit early, isn't it, Ann. Egads! Thankfully you don't have to go in there very often, eh? We order curbside pickup which avoids going inside Walmart at all... which is just as well, it seems. ~Andrea xoxoxo
