There were several questions in the comments yesterday so today I'll answer those.
Sandra asked if this was the fair parade. Yes it was. Even if I don't visit the fair at all, I sit out in my front yard to watch the fair parade on Saturday. I love that it goes right by my house.
Ginny said "I be you didn't even get paid extra. Well I did work overtime so there was OT pay but the first 40 hours were regular pay. I did tell my boss that I should get a bonus. He told me to hold on, walked out and came back with a choice of either a roll of painters tape, a can of flex all or some calking. If nothing else my boss does have a sense of humor.
Ginny also asked about the candy being thrown. Yes, just about every organization that marches in the parade has candy that they throw out to kids.
Anni said she'd rather have a beer while watching the parade. Since I can't even stand the smell of beer I stuck with coffee. She also asked about my having to make sure all orders were ready and out the door. Some were bakery orders others were not. There are two different organizations that order from us for the fair. The Lions Club has a chicken dinner and they order Italian bread from the bakery and they also get pints of milk that they sell as one of their beverage options. The other organization that has a food tent order just about all their stuff from us. They get milk, grocery items, hot dogs, water and a lot of other things too numerous to mention. I also baked pies for them this year.
Now that you've sat through all those answers, here's a short video of the horses that were in the parade.

Thanks for the answers, now we KNOW. You have a funny boss. The horses are so cool, some are even walking in tandem.
I love horses! Take care! ❤️
Love that video! That would have been worth watching the whole parade all by itself. I would love to sit there and watch the parade from your house or even from my house I never go to the ones we have here because it's so crowded. I really had never thought about that all those tents that do all that food at the fair have to get their food from somewhere. I know you're glad it's over thanks for all the answers
That was a lot of work involved to be sure...I understand the stress.
That's a lot if horses for a parade...or it would be for our Little Italy labor day parade. I always love it when you answer questions.
Interesting answers Ann. I enjoyed the video too. Those are very well-trained horses not to be startled by the sirens. What fun to be able to see the parade right outside your house.
I always enjoy your Q&As. I also remember you watching the parade go by each year. How fun. I'm not a beer drinker either.
Have a fabulous day and week, Ann. Enjoy your day off. Love and hugs. ♥
I don't see the horse pooper scooper bringing up the rear!
