It seems every year I take a picture of the sun dial that sits out in my back yard.
Every year it gets a little bit more rust on it. I suppose I could paint it, but I rather like the weathered look of it.
I can't even remember how long this has been sitting here. I do know that it was my ex-husband who had bought it though. So that tells me it has been here quite a long time. I couldn't tell you if it's accurate or not. I think when he put it out there he did a rough guess as far as direction.

It is a nice yard decoration! I do not know how to read them!
I like the rustic look. ❤️
there should be something that points to something ha ha... never seen one or read one and glad for digital that changes by internet and plainly states the time. unless you put it in the yard LOL... i like the look and if you want to pass it on, would sit it by my ferns in a heart beat. of course it would cost A LOT to ship it. I agree with the rust love
I like the rust, too.
You could go visit Sandra for what it would cost to.ship it...and know that it got there rather than lost it or delivered to the wrong person.
That is a cool decoration for the backyard! I honestly don't think I have known of anyone who had a sundial in their yard! I think the rust makes it look rustic (no pun intended, lol). Makes it look weathered like with lots of stories to tell!
betty
I remember seeing this many times over the years.
Have a fabulous day and rest of the week, Ann. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to Gibbs. ♥
That's the coolest thing, Ann. I like the rusty look too! I have no idea how to place or read a sun dial but I love them! ~Andrea xoxo
I like it with the rust on it too.
Glad I don't have to use one of them to tell time though. :)
I have always wanted a sundial. I like them when I see them in the gardens we go to. Yours is very nice.
Yes it looks rustic and that's nice. I don't think I've ever been around one enough to learn how to read it.
That is a neat decoration for the backyard!
