killing time

Yesterday I had a dentist appointment to check my progress. I'm still extremely sore but I'll survive. I had to keep the temporary in as much as possible from Thursday till my appointment and I was able to do that. I did have a few moments when it hurt way too much. Yesterday he did some adjustments and now he wants me to take it out when I'm home to let things heal better. I go back again on Thursday.

I was a little early for my appointment so I stopped off at Frank's Farm Market. This place has tons and tons of hanging baskets and other flowers. They're absolutely gorgeous but very pricey the most expensive basket that I saw with 89.99. Granted it was a huge basket but still that's a lot of money for flowers

Wow, this place is very impressive! But that IS too much money just to have a hanging basket for a season. I'm glad he did some adjustments so it hopefully won't hurt now.

I was shocked to the core at the price of hanging baskets at Home Depot, flowers and just green plants and anything in a pot was sky high. hope the adjustments helped and soon he will ok to eat FOOD like a burger
did you change your blog on purpose? my screen is showing things are shrunken in the middle and black where it should not be. something is wrong.

I hope that things progress more quickly with adjusting to the dentures.

I noticed that the prices of flowers/plants this year is NUTS. I am sort of stuck with home depot at this point until I can explore and find a good nursery down here. Still...I'm glad we are not really gardening this year with the escalating costs.

Hope you are feeling better with your temporary dental work. Sounds painful.

I hope you heal and things improve. There's nothing more painful than teeth and gum pain. Take care and rest today!

I'm glad you're coming along nicely. I know you'll be happy when you are back to normal.

I would have loved to come with you to that shop. The flowers are beautiful.

Have a fabulous day, Ann. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to Gibbs. ♥

Glad you got a good report from the dentist and seem to be progressing in the right way! Such pretty flowers! But so expensive! I wonder what happens to them if people don't buy them? Seems like it would be better to price them a little less expensive and sell them out for people to enjoy their beauty!

I'm glad your healing is going well. The flowers are beautiful but yes, $89 is a lot to spend for flowers! I usually only buy one hanging basket per year. This year I found a really nice one at Walmart for $14.95.

Wow! Those flowers are lovely but that is pricey!! You would think this late in the summer the prices would start coming down a little?? Hope your mouth feels better soon - face and tooth pain is the worst...UGH! Hugs

Glad to hear things going well and pray things continue to improve.
That does sound pricy for a basket of flowers, but they sure are pretty and someone did have to make it.

Glad your appointment went okay. Hopefully you will be all healed soon. Those plants are so pretty and yes, that was a very high price for a basket.

I hope your mouth heals fast. I think window shopping for flowers can give us our plant fix too.

Commenting on today's post down here...don't want to hurt people's feelings because I am not commenting on all. But you did an awesome job on that wedding cake. It looks so elegant.

That sounded like some kind of medieval torture device, awful! So sorry you had to go through this but glad you got to see the flowers to take your mind off things for a while.
