I do clean up after myself though.
Here's the cake I was working on that day.
In yesterdays post, Liz asked if I make the flowers. Yes, I do. I can remember when I first started I was terrified to make flowers. Over the years I've had a lot of bad ones that I had to dump back in the frosting bowl. I've also had mishaps where I've dropped them upside down on a cake. I've had a lot of practice over the years and now, so long as the frosting cooperates, I can whip them out pretty quick.

You have such a talent for decorating. I still laugh remembering the cakes Kaitlin and I used to make. Plenty of love, but no artistic talent. 😊
Pretty cake. Cooks have dishwashers, so bakers like you should have cleaners!
I wish I could do half as good...
you would not want to see the cake OR the mess I would make if i tryed this. I have not put icing on a cake in over 40 years. i let the bakers do it for me, bakers like you... its beautiful
Very pretty cake and I want a slice.
Have a fabulous day and week, Ann. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to Gibbs. ♥
Very pretty. I love the colors.
The cake is so pretty and you do a beautiful job decorating them.
It's beautiful! Not easy to make flowers, I'm impressed with yours. I took a cake-making course with a couple of friends years and years ago. I was never any good at them.
Beautiful! I take it you make the flowers separately and then put them on the cake?
Oh the cake is lovely and a lot harder to do than you make it out to be.
You do a great job.
I'm like that when I bake at home. - The cake is very pretty, I like the colors.
Oh how great... more cakes.
You know, I went back from your most recent post to the older ones...
yes, that's exactly how it is: practice makes perfect :-))
p.s. I have to get my rolls out of the oven... whole grain sourdough... with and without nuts... I like the nuts in the rolls.
Hug to you.
Have fun in the bakery for you :-)))
I am impressed that you make the flowers. You are very talented.
