I'm working in the morning and this evening my kids will be coming over for our Christmas celebration. Cleaning up some things in my blog fodder folder today.
This is a shirt that I made for Amanda. It's not the design that she had wanted but I ruined a whole roll of iron on vinyl trying to weed the design that she did want.
This was last weeks work doodles
There won't be many more of these. The store is up for sale again and this time closing is inevitable. New boss isn't even ordering grocery or frozen foods any more. There is hardly anything left on the shelves and we have fewer and fewer customers every day. He's not telling us anything though so we have no clue when it's coming. Rumor has it, we will stay open until the store sells or he can't make payroll anymore, whichever comes first. I'm quite certain, the latter will happen first.
Finally here is my house all lit up at night.
I went out in the cold to get this picture just for all of you.

Oh no, I'm so sorry about the store. What will you do? I love the gold you put on the shirt! Wow, your house is gorgeous!!
I'm with Ginny, worried about you when the store closes. It's so sad when employers won't talk to loyal employees like you. I love the design on the shirt and the picture of your house. ❤️
That doesn't sound good about your job, dear Ann, and there's probably no other job for you in your area.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you and the shop in general. I hope a miracle happens!
All the best for you...
and a merry Christmas to you and your loved ones.
I am sorry to hear that about your job.
I like Amanda's shirt...wondering what the one she wanted was. I bet it was a real pain if you ruined a whole roll of vinyl. Love the way your house looks!
I love the shirt and your house looks so festive!! I am SO sorry to hear about your job. I've realized in the last 6-7 years that almost all employers have zero loyalty anymore to any employees. It's sad and it makes me so mad. Big hugs to you and I hope you enjoy the evening with your family. Merry Christmas!!
Oh Gosh Ann I'm sorry about the potential store closing...I hope it not bother your day to day not to work.
I 1000% APPRECIATE THE JOURNEY OUT INTO THE FROZEN TUNDRA FOR THE PHOTO.very very festive.

Well that bites - big time.
Oh no on the store. I am so sorry about that. What a time to let people know . What a lot of Bah-humbugs they are, shaking head. People are going to miss your doodles. The shirt you made Amanda is beautiful. And the lights on the house is very pretty, knowing you traipsed out into the cold makes me doubly appreciate your photo. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! I will be sending lots of good vibes that as this one door closes, there will be many more opening.
It don't seem like its been 1.5 months since I put up all the Christmas stuff and its about time to take it down. Took five days to put it up, wondering how long it will take me to get it down!! lol....House looks great. Split level, correct? Living room and kitchen on the middle level, den and maybe garage on the bottom and bedrooms and bath upstairs. It is built like the home I grew up in from the outside. Merriest Christmas Eve to you and Gibbs.
Like all the other comments..I'm so sorry about your work place being sold and the prospect of no job. Praying for a miracle or another place of employment. You are so good at what you do.
Love your home and the lights. Thanks for plunging out in the cold to take a photo for us.
Enjoy your time with family and Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

That's sad news. I'm sorry for the employees and for the people in the area that count on the store for food. I hope there is an answer for you soon...and you have something good on the horizon.
Oh so sorry about the store closing. A new job for you or can you retire?
