The wind was blowing and it was coming down in sheets sideways
You can't tell from the pictures but it was pouring. Across the street a guy was filling gas cans and even though he was under a canopy he had to have gotten soaked with the way the wind was blowing the rain

Summer rains can be crazy can't they?
We have had some crazy rain storms this summer. We are fortunate that it hasn’t rained as much as it has out west.

This time of year we really don't have any rain here in the Sacramento valley. We actually could use some as the temperatures soar to 100F today. Soon I will be whining about how chilly it is ... (:0) Seems we are never satisfied.
Those wild downpours are hard on business too.

Wow, that seemed like a heavy storm. Glad you were okay. As annoying as it may be, it is nice to get some rain from time to time.
We got some rain here in Montreal but very little!
Wow that does look like a lot of rain. We aren't often short of rain here where I live!!!
That looks uncomfortable to drive in. We have had some of those downpours here.
Rain is great, but not the wind!
Wow I wish we could get some rain like that here. Just heat and lots of smoke from all the fires in the area.
