Scenes from a Mopar Show

Last weekend there was a car show being held at the borough park. Of course we had to head on down and check out all the cool cars. This one was strictly Mopar and since Wade is a big Dodge fan we couldn't miss it.
Loved the front bumper on this truck
And here's a few more that I got pictures of.

Unfortunately it was raining quite a bit that day in the morning so the turn out wasn't all that great. There weren't nearly as many cars there as there has been other years. It was still fun to check them all out and pick our favorites.

I love the collage you did of the cars. I enjoy the car shows too.

The 50th Annual Southeastern Autorama is going on in our town this weekend as well. I didn't attend this year, it was just too hot outside for me. I had to cover the event for the newspaper last year. They had some fantastic antique cars. It is a huge event here.

Wow, that must have been a ton of fun to go to. I love the photo of that first truck. I so want that older truck! Oh, to be able to fix it up and drive it...too cool.

Those trucks are so neat. The pictures are really good too. It is fun seeing the ram on one of the hoods and seeing such old trucks. I bet you did have a great time. Too bad it rained.
Have a wonderful week.
Also tell Duke that the doggies at this house dream too and chase things and Jasmine actually howls. Scares Mom to death.

Leeuna we usually hit a few car shows every summer, it's nice to drool over the cars and dream about the ones we want...lol

Sheri there were some really nice ones there

Anne well at least it didn't rain while we were there

Bossy Betty, yep, don't leave home without the camera

Manoverboard there's a ice cream shop not far from here that does that too but it's always during the week and we're always just too tired to go after working all day

Sugar Wade's the same way.

Vanilla seven me too, they sure don't make them like that any more

Grace I believe it's motor parts corporation it's a Dodge/Chrysler car parts division

tahtimbo Wade used to have a 55 pickup years ago (I'm talking decades) and he's been wanting to get another one. maybe one of these days

Fishhawk nope Duke sat this one out.

Audrey I loved that saying on the bumper

DKMiller thanks, I love the old cars

Donna by the time we went it was more like just muddy

Urban cowboy my husband keeps saying that when we win the lottery he's going to buy a challenger and a couple others, with a hemi of course :)

allotments4you there were some cool ones. I love walking around and checking them all out

Sandee yes they are, we went with friends and she saw a car just like one she had when she was in high school, she got so excited

Marg It was fun, I just wish there would have been more of them there this year. Duke is pleased to know he's not the only dog who does that.
