The Sun Shining Over Mill Run

Continuing on from yesterday we're going to see what I found upstairs at the Market Place. Wade was the one who told me about the place and had said that I would probably like it. After we walked through I asked him what was upstairs and he said nothing.
One look at the stairwell and I knew I had to go up and see for myself. One picture from the bottom of the stairs and one from the top.

Rather than me trying to explain what  this mural is I'll just show you the picture of the plaque on the wall.
So at the top of the stairs there was a long hallway. There were several different rooms. Some were for various art classes, one was a dance studio and there was even one that was set up as a small art gallery.
I didn't take too many pictures but I could have because there wasn't anyone around. Maybe another day.

  3. Wade was right! What a great place and the mural is incredible. It is sad that the arts are being axed in schools in this country--I feel that creativity is vital for children...

  5. Haunting and unusual pictures! I would have used up a whole memory card snapping! Is that a heart between two pencil sharpeners? A heart being broken maybe?
