Since it's Sunday and we should all be relaxing and taking it easy I thought I would take you back out to Carl's house today. I'm sure he won't mind if I invite you along. You could do a little 4-wheeling
We can walk around the pond. Do you feel like taking a swim out to that little island?
Maybe you just want to sit back and take in the view.
You can check out the water pump but don't touch the handle. Wade tried that while Carl and I were out looking at the tree yesterday. It seems this pump is home to a swarm of bees.

I would love to live in the country. I get so tired of our neighbors dogs that bark all day long. Or them planting awful plants and trees that go over to our side of the fence. Just saying.
What a fun day and I'm guessing Duke got to go along too?
Have a terrific day. My best to Duke. :)
I took your advise and took it nice and easy today Ann. Cool pump! Minus the bees of course.

Not sure who Carl is but he sure has a nice view!
I DO want to swim to the little island!
Wow, what stunning views. Living in the city as I do, I just so much appreciate the countryside. I really like that old water pump too. Great shots, Ann.
I'd be in that pond all the time! What a lovely place to be!
What great pictures! I especially like the little island!
Pretty...
thank goodness no one got stung
He's got a beautiful spread there!
Well, did Wade at least bring home some honey for Duke? By the way, considering the location and how truly beautiful it is, I would hate how much it would cost to buy that place--even in the current depressed real estate market!
Looks like a great place to relax - thanks for sharing :o)
Kind of looks like my neighborhood a bit.
Looks like a lovely place!
enjoyed my visit to Carls, and i did NOT touch the pump. wheewww glad you told me not to. great shot of the pump and no i would/could not swim to the island, but I would/could take photos with you
This is magnificent. I would really enjoy swimming in that pond, but I think my summer swimming days are over for this year. Thank you for these photos!
