Sunday when Amanda and I were out we stopped in an antique shop. I couldn't resist taking a picture or two while I was in there.
This display on an old dresser was quite nice.
Of course the room we were in was a little on the dark side so the lighting isn't so good on this. I knew I could make this look even better. Or shall I say my version of better.
A little texture, brighten it up a bit, add a bit of a sepia tint and lower the saturation and this is what I got.

I love those antique displays. You found one of the best!
lovely edit Ann...now it looks as if it was taken decades ago!!
Your version looks cool, makes me want to buy everything in there. So you didn't purchase anything?
Adding the sepia tinting most definitely made the image much more attractive to me. By the way, I looked up what sepia is, and now I know even more about what I am talking about!
Antique shops are fun. I'm loving all the lacy bits there :)
wow... i must say your treatment to the picture is fabulous :) Its timeless :) very nice!
...one of my favorite pastimes!!! I love browsing antique stores.
Too bad, some of the things I find in them are identical to what my mom had and threw out. [I still get flabbergasted when I see something like moms. LOL]
You did a great job of editing this photo. It's perfect... like an old tin photo.
You made it look better, Definitely.
I love wandering around antique stores. Always something fun to look at.
I've never been in an antique shop becaue the things in there it either too exspansive or I don't need it. Great photo editing as always!
Love it. The texture is awesome.
Hi Ann, Love what you have done to that 2nd picture... The texture is perfect....
Sounds like you had a good time antique shopping.
Hugs,
Betsy
I'm not an "antique" loving person but you made the antiques even more antique-ier. Nice effect.
Gorgeous finds! I love your editing job, too.
I LOVE your edits Ann....This is beautiful!

I really like what you did in that second pic! You should go show the owner and become in charge of marketing their store! Really nice Ann!
I love what you did with that photo! So creative!
Yes, I like your version better!!!
I can never resist antique and collectible shops. Love the display and great photos. Did you find any treasures?
Wow, that is a big difference.Good for you to do that. Have a great evening.
The first one is a good picture by itself, and I like what you did for the second one.
I liked them both - but I think I do like the pink! Sandie
Oh, I like what you did to that photo to jazz it up!
I love the texture and "antiquing"! :) Great job. But now you'd done it. Between you and Sandra I now absolutely have to find the time to learn how to add texture to photos. Great. Thanks a lot Ann. LOL. :)
