I went archive diving and found this picture
This is from last year around this time. Chances are I may have even used this. Even though it's far from perfect I like the way they are sitting on the wires. It made me think that they were probably doing a bit of scrounging that day too.

It is fun to watch birds and see if you can figure out what they are thinking. A lot of times when they are lined up on some wire, I figure they are having a meeting. These do look like they are scrounging. Have a great day,
Starlings sometime build their nests in the bottom portion of an eagles nest.
to bad one did not look to the east... then they would be looking in all directions. i bet that hawk is swooping in from the East and no one knows. i love it, they are so cute. scrounge away...

Love birds on a wire! I have tried and failed repeatedly to photograph them!
I saw a video on FB recently (I think I shared it, actually), where they took a photo of birds on a wire and turned it into musical notes and played the "song" the birds on the wire created. Have you seen it?
Now, when I see birds on a wire, that is all I think---what is their "song?"
