This is a large piece of wood that Mary wood burned the tree onto.
They had 4 different shades of green ink that guest were to use to apply their thumb print to the tree. Next to their thumb print they wrote their name in with a black sharpie marker.

Oh, that is very popular now. We saw that at my niece's wedding a couple of years ago--although this tree on the wood is incredible!! What a nice momento! So much better than the old guestbook.
What a neat gift! That is really cool (and my crafty wheels are already turning ;o)
With Mary also being crafty, Wade and his son will undoubtedly get much closer.
