I walked around the yard and in between taking pictures of flowers and bugs I was begging Gibbs to sit still long enough for me to get pictures of him.
Not only did I take a whole bunch of pictures but I actually got a weeks worth of them ready for blog posts.
I'm starting off with a weed. I found this growing behind the hydrangea bush. First is the original picture straight off the camera.
A few adjustments on shadows, highlights, brightness, contrast and sharpening.
Then I added a filter and played around with different blending modes
Lastly I went in search of a quote.

Interesting changes made. I like the final product of your daisy fleabane.
you go girl! get out there with that camera.. you KNOW I love this, and this is what i love to do. like that quote and the edits can save a photo from the trash... and it is fun... can't wait to see what else you found
LOVE this photo Ann and especially the edits!! That's one of my most favorite things to do. I take all the pics on my iphone and use the apps on my ipad to make the edits! So many photo editing apps out there! I love them ALL!
Happy Sunday!
Ummmm...not to sure about the previous commenter up there (eek? ;o)
Sounds like somebody had a mighty productive day! Love the tweaked and quoted version of your weed. *laugh*
You made a great poster! Oh, and you need to have a little talk with Gibbs about leaving that spellcasting spam up. For he might not realize that spammers can get through the roadblocks by having a legitimate-looking Google ID/profile.
The second photo with the quote - I'll take that.
I like the second photo with the quote added too. Very pretty!
I love the shots and I really like the quote. It's spot on.
Have a fabulous day. My best to Gibbs. ♥♥♥
Weed or no weed, I love daisies so loved these pics. Maybe it'll be Gibbs next time ?

Great photo made even better with your editing skills! Very pretty little weed!
I just love wandering around in the garden too, always finding something to snap. These pictures are great, I love what you've done in the last one.
Isn't it fun to play around with photos. I like your little flowering weed and the end result with the quote was delightful. (TheSpell Caster commentor...not so much.)
These are stunning and I really love the quote!
You should get out with that camera more often Ann, lovely shot and love the quote you added, perfect!
