Moving right along

But first a wee bit of whining about the weather. Mother nature has a very cruel sense of humor. She teased us with 60 degree weather and then Saturday gave us this




OK now on to the plaques. There are a total of 5 and I'm only going to show you one at a time. I would hate to use up blog material all in one post.

 These were all done on a 5 x 7 wood plaque (cheapo on purchased at Wal-Mart for 97 cents a piece)

I was rather pleased with the way this one turned out. The odd bits of paper thrown around under the trees are supposed to be fallen leaves. If I were to do this again I would have cut them up in to much smaller pieces.

  7. We turn the air conditioner on in the afternoons here. It's pretty warm. I can't imagine seeing snow this time of year.

    I love it. The saying is a favorite of mine too.

  11. Ha! use up all the blog material in one post! bwah-ahahhahaha! that cracked me up girl.
    If it weren't for that one post, I'd never get to write on my blog. So I throw every thing I have!
    Now...onto these little plaques. I was just at Walmart, and saw some of these and picked one up and thought, wonder what someone would do with these?
    NOW! I! KNOW!

    These would make cute prizes and Bunco (I don't even know what Bunco is...or if they give prizes)
    How about hostess gifts or something.
    shoot...! I'm thinking of making some for my girls for all birthdays or mothers day
