But first a wee bit of whining about the weather. Mother nature has a very cruel sense of humor. She teased us with 60 degree weather and then Saturday gave us this
OK now on to the plaques. There are a total of 5 and I'm only going to show you one at a time. I would hate to use up blog material all in one post.
These were all done on a 5 x 7 wood plaque (cheapo on purchased at Wal-Mart for 97 cents a piece)
I was rather pleased with the way this one turned out. The odd bits of paper thrown around under the trees are supposed to be fallen leaves. If I were to do this again I would have cut them up in to much smaller pieces.

We've been having all kinds of weather lately too, including hailstorms.
LOVE the plaque!
I like this idea, one could almost use a cedar shake
That is terrific. We like that one a lot. Sorry about your snow. We just have some cooler temps. Hope the sun comes out for you.
how dare she snow in april... i like the fallen leaves and the quote is a really good one.. cant wait to see the others and glad you had a good craft time this week end... here is a wish for your snow to melt and sun to shine today
Ann,you have been on a roll lately, the magnets were so creative and now you have done something beautiful with a little ol piece of Walmart wood. Happy day!
I love this so much Ann! Great job!
We turn the air conditioner on in the afternoons here. It's pretty warm. I can't imagine seeing snow this time of year.
I love it. The saying is a favorite of mine too.
Have a fabulous day Ann. Big hug to you and lots of scritches for Gibbs. ♥♥♥
Snow? Ick! At least your plaque is springy and very pretty!
That's pretty, and sweet. I have a plaque over my front door that says "So this isn't Home Sweet Home - Adjust" Always with the snark...
The plaque is beautiful! It snowed here yesterday and it's been snowing all day today! So strange. :)
Ha! use up all the blog material in one post! bwah-ahahhahaha! that cracked me up girl.
If it weren't for that one post, I'd never get to write on my blog. So I throw every thing I have!
Now...onto these little plaques. I was just at Walmart, and saw some of these and picked one up and thought, wonder what someone would do with these?
NOW! I! KNOW!
these are adorable, you're so clever. I like the scripture on this one.
These are so cute.
These would make cute prizes and Bunco (I don't even know what Bunco is...or if they give prizes)
How about hostess gifts or something.
shoot...! I'm thinking of making some for my girls for all birthdays or mothers day
Just could Not take all that cold!
Hope it's all gone by now!
