I got my sign

I had told you that one of those cards I made was for one of the guys at work who was leaving. He was our butcher and had been there for 14 years. He started when he was in high school as a stock boy. Over the years we have had our disagreements but we were always able to end them with agreeing to disagree. Whenever I was having a rough day he would look at me and say "Smile Annie, Jesus loves you." Then he would ask me if I needed a hug.

January 20th was his last day. I was off but he left me a note hanging on my table. I took the note, copied it, shrunk it and glued it to some scrapbook paper. Now I have my sign.

Sorry, bad picture. It was a rainy and dark day yesterday and I took this a bit late in the day with my cell phone.

Oh and the p.s. is because I told him that Jesus may love me but he loves you more because you're getting out of here.

So cute. He sounds like a good guy, and I bet you will miss him. Now, wonder who will replace him...

Love the card. I hope his replacement is even better and nicer than he was. now i am wondering why he left and where he went and does he have another job that is better than that one... detail is my middle name right behind my other middle name curiosity...

He has a great sense of humor. I can tell by this card. I'm sure you'll treasure it too. I know I would.

Have a fabulous day, Ann. Big hug to you and tons of scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥

Aw...that was nice of him to say goodbye. Lucky him that he has his freedom!

That's funny. I like that kind of repartee.
