Hump day

I'm holding up pretty good but I've got nothing for a post so I'm digging in the archives.

It's a Gibbs by the pool picture. I really do not miss the pool being there at all. I do wish I could get the deck and yard fixed but all in good time.

I will say, however, that with the heat and humidity we've been having it would be nice to dive in and cool off a bit.

That Gmail sign-up comment is truly spam! I've seen around blogs for the past couple weeks...ALWAYS the same wording one blog after another.

It's near 85° here...at 6:3o!! No dipping in the pool for me. I'd just sit next to Gibbs & chat with him.

That is a very shaggy Gibbs LOL (This weather has certainly got me down - 8am - 80 degrees and 82% humidity - will this summer never end.)

the pool sure did make a great background for Gibbs...try 93 with 90 percent humidity. uggh it is to hot to get in the pool...

I like to VISIT pools. They are too expensive and a lot of work for a short few months each year. Thank goodness our friends have a lovely pool that they invite us over to share.

I'm not a pool person. I just stay inside (if I can) when it's hot. We don't have the humidity that you do and I'm very grateful for that.

You're on the downhill side of that 11 day workweek. Good for you.

Have a fabulous day, Ann. Big hug to you and tons of scritches to Gibbs. ♥

When the pool closes it really crimps my style and fades my tan. LOL

Thanks. I'm not sure how old it is, I should have checked the date on it

I keep deleting those gmail sign up comments. I'm surprised they aren't going right to the spam folder
I don't swim but I would get in and walk around in the water or float on a eaft

Yes, very shaggy but believe it or not he has looked worse.
It's 90 right now with a real feel 9f 99

Youre right, expensive and too much work. Wades idea of cleaning thempool was inviting people with kids over to stir it all up with the pump on. Drove me nuts

Ann Thompson said...

Im not muchfor pools either. It was purchased years ago for the kids. I only went in on super hot days

Since I dont swim or get much of a tan, I have no problem

I am a pool person. I'm not a swimmer, but when it's hot and humid my favorite thing to do is get in the pool with a glass of wine and a good book. I also enjoy it when my daughters and their kids come over - it's a pool party!

You can make 'em disappear by marking it spam in your comment admin!...instead of deleting.

Thanks, I'm off to go do that now .

Your dog is a cutie. Pools are a lot of work and expensive to heat; when we had a pool we spent a lot of time in it, and swam in it on New Year's Eve.

I agree, a dip in the pool would be refreshing. Our neighbor just put in a huge pool and I would love to be able to use it. We have a pool here to use but they only heat it in the summer. Our nights get so cold that you really can't swim in it. We had a pool for 17 years in our last house. I wish I had one now because with my lungs the pool is the one exercise I can do. We are going to be 101 degrees today!
