A day divided

I didn't spend my day off doing just one thing. I started off leisurely with coffee and blog reading. After that I moved on to a few household chores that needed done. I think I need a new broom.

I put away the St. Patrick's day stuff I had out and pulled out a few Easter things.

I also spent some time lounging on the couch playing a couple of my favorite games on my tablet.

June's Journey is probably my favorite. It's a hidden object game and I've been playing this one for over  a year now.

The other is one I just recently downloaded. It's a color by number app.

It's back to work today but it's a short week. My birthday is this week and even though I'll be working on my birthday I took vacation days Friday and next Sunday so that I could have a 4 day weekend. I'm not sure what I'll do yet but I was ready for a little time off.

I hope you enjoy your weekend -- I can well imagine you need a chunk of time off!

Well...you hinted about birthday but no other clues. I played that June's Journey before. It takes a lot of battery power.

Cute Easter decorations.

yay for time off and happy early birthday... hope the weather does something wonderful for your birthday, like sunshine and blue skies... the only game I play is Words with friends and only with one friend or myself... I wonder if the color app would go on my tablet. my phone will not allow apps or updates. at this time I have not one holiday or seasonal item in the house except Christmas in the closet. and I am trying to remember if I ever did when the kids were small. maybe but I can't remember... I may have borrowed from mother because she had every holiday and season there was.

June's Journey looks interesting - I've only ever played solitaire. Enjoy having a 4 day weekend. BTW you can give your broom a haircut and prolong it's life... just saying. lol

Oooh, yes! a 4-day weekend - I remember how welcome those were! I love the little ducky, or is it a chick? Love ducky decor - contrary to my usual harum-scarum decorating, I once did my bathroom in an all (rubber) ducky scheme - shower curtain, hooks, wastebasket and of course, a family of multi-colored rubber duckies!

You need a Swiffer! We've just started using them and they are fabulous. Easy to change the little cloth on the end and it picks up everything on the floor. Throw that broom out! heehee! And have a wonderful week! I'm glad you'll have some days off to enjoy and celebrate!

Oh it don't matter what you do on your day off, do nothing, do all....just make the best of it! Happy Bday just in case I miss blogging on that day. Hoping you have a great one. Yep, your broom is looking a bit worn. HAHA....its funny how we all have our others (likes and dislikes)....for sweeping the kitchen I like a real broom like yours (only with the straws laying down...:) ) For the hardwood floors I like a duster thingy like a Swiffer. My mom looked her clothe like mop for mopping and I love my Swiffer that you attach bottles of cleaner to. Course a vac works great on all the above but more trouble then I care for at times when you have to drag it out and plug it up. Like I said, funny what we like and don't care for.

I've played other hidden object games but didn't like them as much as I do this one.

I'm sure going to try. I know I'm really looking forward to it

Yep, another one here already. It's Thursday.
I hadn't really noticed the battery life while playing the game. I'll have to pay more attention

I've played a lot of solitaire too.
My broom could definitely use a haircut...lol

Thank you. It's this Thursday. I'm not sure what I'll do yet on my days off but I know I'll enjoy them

It's a chick but it could just as easily be a duck. I bet the rubber ducky decor is cute

I actually have a Swiffer and don't much like it. I still need to use the broom to pick up half the dirt

Ann said...

I'm not making too many plans for the days off.. It's easier to play it by ear

Ann said...

Yes, they sure are and thank you

I've played other hidden object games but I like this one better than any of the others
