From Amanda's kitchen.

I got a text message from Amanda yesterday along with a picture to use for today's blog post.

The message read: Here's the recipe for your blogger people. Tell them I hope they enjoy it as much as I do.

Looks really good! I don't have a slow cooker, though.

Just sounds really really good. I may try this if I ever get to my weight and I can get back to eating stuff like this. Bob would love it! I also like the way she took the picture and the card looks so bright and cheerful what a great way to get a recipe

What a novel way to share a recipe.

Oh, yummy!! I think this would work in a casserole dish, in the oven also. Not 10 ours tho. This is similar to a Denver omelet/Cracker Barrel hash brown casserole.

LOVE the holiday recipe card. Thank her for me.

Oh yummy. Fattening, but ever so yummy.

Thanks for the recipe.

Have a fabulous day off, Ann. Big hug to you and tons of scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥

Thanks for the recipe, sounds yummy!

You can also make this in the oven. I've done it before but I don't remember how long to bake it.

Ann said...

I was too by the time I got done eating

Ann said...

Yes, it would. I've done something similar in the past in the oven. It might have been an hour or so. I suppose it would depend on how big of a casserole you make. Just have to make sure the eggs are set

Ann said...

Yeah, she's good like that :)

Ann said...

Yep. Versitile too since you can add whatever you like or take out what you don't

She must get her penmanship from me because her father didn't have the neatest handwriting if I recall correctly

Ann said...

Yep, totally yummy. If you consider how many vegetables are in there it's almost like a health food :)

I make a chili relleno one that you bake

I love the card, especially the "and serve with love!" I'm so glad you have her in your life. Is your cold getting any better?

Yeah, the card is pretty cute. I'm glad I have her in my life too. She's a keeper.
Yes, the cold is getting better. It sure did hang on for a while

Me too. But then I like just about anything. I'm so not a picky eater.

Oh em gee that sounds delicious! I haven't made any kind of breakfast in my crockpot! I'm missing out.
