Gloomy outside but crafty inside

Monday was dark and gloomy but I didn't let that dampen my spirits. It made for a good day to spend in the craft room.

I've been seeing nightlights that people were doing Cricut vinly projects with and wanted to give it a try. They were buying these nigh lights from Dollar Tree and applying vinyl cutouts. I checked in a couple of the Dollar Trees and couldn't find these but finally spotted a couple the other day.

I went in search of a design that I liked. Then I downloaded it, uploaded it my Cricut design space and cut it out. All that was left to complete the project was to apply the vinyl cutout to the night light.

Now to see what it looks like once it's plugged in.

I'm really liking these and think not only will they make good gifts but I can have a different night light for my bathroom for every season and holiday.

WOW, this is amazing! Adorable, I LOVE it!!! Who knew you could even make something like this? You HAVE to make one for each season.

Thanks. I didn't realize they had night lights like these until I started seeing them on Pinterest. Most of the designs I've seen have been initials but I think I'll put other stuff on mine

I thought so too and such an inexpensive project to make

Happy hunting. I know it took me a while before I found a store that had them here.

Now this I LOVE, I have night lights in all the rooms, some rooms I have 2 - decorative night lights are rather expensive, so being able to put your own designs on them - wow. You can buy multi-packs of night lights via Amazon (and other places) for about the same price as the dollar store.

I LOVE THIS!!! I agree, one for each season, even one for each room for each season... everytime it is gloomy out you can decorate bright nightlights. it looks cut no lit and lit... perfect gifts..

How fun. Love this. I've not used a nightlight in years, but I would these.

Have a fabulous day, Ann. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥

that's a really neat idea, love your first option ...and with more seasonal or festive options at a lower price than the commentator who said their were decorative ones on the market but more expensive. I know night lights exist but have never had them...

I have one that I use in the bathroom and it's a snowman so I need more seasonal ones. Now to decide what else to put on them

I only use one in my bathroom so I don't have to turn on the big light if I go in there in the middle of the night

That looks great. Your version is quite pretty

Thank you. I use a night light in my bathroom so I don't have to turn the big light on in the middle of the night. With these I might find other places to use them too
