I skipped posting yesterday because on Sunday, my daughter and I, went to Shaker Woods for the Christmas in the woods festival. I've been there several times before but this was Amanda's first trip. It's a lot of walking and a bit confusing trying to follow the map so that you see all there is to see. We left around 9:00 a.m. and I think it was about 5:00 when I got home. Needless to say, after feeding Gibbs I parked my butt on the couch and lounged for the rest of the evening.
I didn't really take many pictures but I have a collage of the few I did snap.
The only actual craft item I took a picture of was the doll that I considered buying for Presley but then never did.

So is this woods in any way associated with the Shaker religion?
Love the collage. After walking from 9 to 5, I'd be planting my rear on the couch too!
That is a lot of walking....I probably would not last that long.
I doubt I could stay 9 to 5, even with sitting for a while now and then. 2 hours is about my limit. if that.... I would have collapsed and not been able to get up
That was a long day. I'd have to have some sitting time to make it that long. You rock.
Have a fabulous day, Ann. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥
Glad you had a great day! I bet you were tired.
Looked like a beautiful sunny day to be on an outing . . . and what better company than mother and daughter :)
I had no idea so I looked it up. I found one thing that said that the Shaker Woods festival was founded to honor the 18th century Shaker
After all that walking my hips were hurting my back was hurting and a whole lot of other parts too...lol
Well we did sit for a bit for lunch
This looks like a great day with the leaves changing! I'd be exhausted!
That's a long day. Glad you enjoyed it!! We have an annual festival going on near us this weekend... we've gone many times, but this year with my ankle injury it would be more trouble than fun I think.
