It's been almost a year since I purchased my heat press. It's been sitting waiting for me to be brave enough to use it. I've had plans many times to attempt but always put it off. Finally yesterday, I pulled it out and did a project.
I purchased this placemat at Dollar Tree. Of course I chose this one because of the buffalo plaid.
I purchased some orange iron on vinyl and found a design I liked.
I folded over the top and sewed across to make a pocket for a dowl rod. I tied a piece of just on to the dowel rod for hanging. In the top corner I glued on some fall leaves with a raffia bow and a little pumpkin button. The bottom corner was another fall leaf with another one of those little Dollar Tree pumpkins wrapped with jute.

It's stunning!! Where will you hang it? You are SO creative. I don't know what a heat press is! Different from an iron I guess. Makes me think of what they sed to call mangles. A huge machine you would put cloth in and press down.
Excellent work and terrific project.
I think you chose a great project...of course I woujd love it. I love all things fall.

Have a fabulous day and week, Ann. Love and hugs to you and lots of scritches to Gibbs. ♥
It is absolutely beautiful!!! You should be selling your stuff at art shows but I know that's a lot of work to do.
