Getting it back together

Looks like I did it again. I had not intended to be missing in action from the blog world but I was having a I don't want to kind of day on Sunday. I already told you how my Saturday went but come Sunday it got even worse. I didn't want to do anything and I drove myself nuts with complete boredom. There were lots of things I could have done to entertain myself but I just did not want to do any of them.

There were three different projects that I picked up to work on and then set them back down. Didn't feel like it.

I picked up my book to read and after a couple pages put it back down. Just didn't feel like it.

Email, didn't feel like it.
Blog, didn't feel like it.
Shopping, didn't feel like it.

Monday morning, alarm goes off, time to get ready for work, didn't feel like it.

TOO BAD, SUCK IT UP AND DO IT!!!!!

SIGH

OK fine.
I think I'm all better now

Since Wade knows about things like this, ask him to give you a good degaussing.

We all get that feeling at times. Just go with it and relax. We all need some down time.

I can relate!

For busy people like all of us- maybe we need a day like that to help our sanity??

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Don't you hate weekends like that? You want to do something, you have lots to do, but just no energy or enthusiasm to do it. Then that Monday morning roles around and all of a sudden it's too late. Back to work you have to go. rats....

this is the best
"I didn't feel like it" blog post I have ever seen. LOL and the ONLY one toooo. I have been feeling that way for months now, mine is caused by under active Thyroid, zero hormones. so if it keeps it up, see your doctor. this can also be caused by menopause, OOPS you aren't old enough for that. OR it can be caused by I just don't feel like it virus.

Work is kinda unavoidable, so yeah, suck it up and do it. But the other stuff? Supposed to be fun and if it isn't, then don't! Most things can benefit from a little distance - remember absence makes the heart grow fonder!

What I can't understand is with all that TALENT you have - and you have so much - why you don't feel like doing something. If I could produce the lovely things you can - whew.

I understand though - I think we all get that way sometimes.

Glad you are feeling better.

I hope things have turned around for you, Ann! I think it is okay to have those blah days where nothing feels right--we have all been there.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Oh my! Don't sweat it, you will pick up and get back in this week... even in a slow week, you post more than i do (yikes - maybe I should do more - it'll have to wait until the kids are older - lol)
Hope the week gets better!
Hugs, antonella :-)

I think everyone has days like that. If I were close by I'd drag you out the door and go do something fun and silly. lol
Hope work is going well this week. I know you only have Thursday off so definitely let hubby do all the cooking. :)

Yep, sometimes you just don't feel like it. I can so relate. You aren't doing anything different than the rest of us.

Have a terrific day. My best to Duke. :)

I've been feeling the same way for the past few months. After I get done teaching and assorted school duties, I haven't felt like writing or doing much of anything.
Oh, I do have a question: in the bottom of the first photo, what are those bobbin-things used for?

Oh I understand perfectly. It probably did you a lot of good to do just nothing. I need to try that for sure. That is why my house is such a mess. I don't feel like cleaning it.
Take care.

well, you get so much stuff done at other times that it is okay to have a down time :)

I've had plenty of days like that. Sometimes everything seems like an effort, but then the next day it's all back to normal.

Ugh, I hate days like that when nothing really seems to catch my attention. Usually when that happens I end up watching way too much television.

in theory, put off today what one can put off tomorrow. I never have a specific schedule to do too much.
