Priorities

Duke said that there may just be hope for me yet. He was quite proud of me yesterday when I had my priorities in much better order and took him for an early morning walk. He didn't even object that I had my morning coffee before we set out.

Not a flattering picture but when we walk Duke is always in the lead..

Duke wanted to stop by the public library and return some books but there was a few problems with that plan....

1. The library was closed

2. We didn't have any books to return
3. Duke can't read.

We did see a couple wild animals on our walk but I'll wait till tomorrow to show you that.

Oh Duke, what a fun walk you had with the Mom. Too bad the library was closed. Can't wait to see the wild life. Have a great Sunday.

He's also too short for the drop box.

I'm shocked that Duke can't read. You'd better get on that Ann. A few lessons should do it.

Have a terrific day. My best to that handsome Duke. :)

I think Duke just wanted to check out the library. You know, mice hang out with all the books. Maybe Duke was hoping to make a new friend.

Hey, at least you got out for a walk. That's nice. That's the one thing I don't like about the cats--not good company for a walk. Oh, they'll sit out in the grass with me, but they don't want to ride in the car or go for a walk. :(

Closed or not Duke looked very happy at the library!!

Even if the library was closed, a wild animal sighting still makes for a good walk.

Yep, you about outdid yourself on this one. Very well done!

I know that particular view really well. LOL. And I bet Duke can read - he just doesn't want you to know it. ;)
