It has been far too long since I have done anything crafty. Thanks to a new blog I found (actually I think she found me and I returned the visit and liked it) I have broken the dry spell. The blog I'm referring to is I like to cut and paste and I do, I really do like to cut and paste. She recently posted a challenge to create 4th of July cards.
Here's what I came up with. Not one but four cards. Since Duke is one of the three patriotic colors it was only fitting that he should do the initial presentation.
After I finished with these I also made a birthday card and started on some little crocheted owls. Both will be another blog post though.
It's going to be a busy day today, so many things to get done. But first I need coffee.

Now...you mentioned a crocheted owl?!!! Bet that's gonna be a Hootin' treat for me to see it when you share it.
so happy your dry spell is broken, fun for us seeing what you make. can you hear me singing Born on the 4th of July? that came to me because my friend Shirley will be 76 on the 4th and her mom, dad, and all 3 sisters and herself were all born in July. They are delightful but for some reason the "For You" cards keeps grabbing my attention...
I love all of your designs! They're so cheerful and fun. I also love to cut and paste. There's something about cutting paper that I find very therapeutic.
Those are cute little pinwheels. Since Om only celebrates C-mas and July 4, he would approve.
