Just random

Ginny asked yesterday if I had had the allergy testing done yet and what I'm allergic to. I still haven't had it done yet. I'll be making the appointment today. With my luck, I'll pay the $200 only to have them tell me I'm not allergic to anything.

So on with the post. I went through my archives and randomly chose pictures. I'm hoping I'll be right on target with this kind of post.

I suppose you could end up thinking I'm nuts. I might even have to agree with you on that one.

A blanket and your furry best friend will make everything better.

Yeah, I had it done years ago...One of the things I'm allergic to is grapes...coffee...
I had a good laugh then told the doc I refused to give them up.
I'm also allergic to needles, plastic, tape (skin contact), grass...on and on...
SO, I took it with a grain of salt...and still use them all.
If I'm going to sneeze, it'll be for a good cause!
My immunity has built up to these things anyway...I think they just want your money...

Sorry about all of your troubles with insurance... No matter what we all pay, it's never enough... There's always something not covered..... Grrrrrr....

I don't think I have heard of anyone who has gone through all of those allergy tests who truly got answers.. We all are allergic to certain things which are around us constantly... Unless you are truly in terrible pain, I wouldn't bother... BUT---that totally depends on you and your situation... I have certainly gone through a lot of visiting with doctors, taking meds, and of course spent a hellofa lot of money... Sometimes I think it is to no avail at all... Sorry--just my mood today. Good Luck with your situation.

Yes---let's cuddly with a furry friend --or in my case a wonderful hubby.

Hugs,
Betsy

Great use of photos today! If the allergy issues started with the perfume, I guess I'm confused as to what they're testing for. Isn't it known the perfume triggered it so can't the Drs figure out what's in perfume that would cause that?

Those are some great pictures. I have been through those allergy tests and nothing came of it. I think at this time of year, there is just a lot of pollen around and that will make anyone sneeze. My eyes water all the time. Have a great evening Ann.

Maybe they will determine that it is a simple allergy and can be corrected easily. I am having an allergy to SAND right now. Can you believe that? Like my daughter said, "only I would react to sand!".... but on the flip side. I took allergy shots for 10 yrs and I don't have a lot of issues with scents, or sinus type issues. So with that said, finding out you have allergies to things and you need to take shots is not all that bad. Hang in there....hoping all turns out well.

the problem with the allergy testing is that it comes back positive for all sorts of things: grass, pollen, dust, mold, pet hair, work, fruits, vegetables, cookies, breathing....

And then you are no better off than you were before. It's a waste of money, in my opinion.
