Seeing spots

We had real honest to goodness sunshine the other day. I guess it gave me the ambition to do a little cleaning. While walking through the kitchen I noticed some spots on the wall. I wish I would have noticed the dark spot near the top right corner before. Now I'm a bit horrified and wondering just what that is on the wall.

The colored spots are easily explained. I have a crystal kissing ball hanging off a plate rack on that wall. When the sun was shining in through the sliding glass door it hit the crystal to make those beautiful spots.

Now if you'll excuse me I need to go take care of that other less pretty spot.

Gosh, what a beautiful image! Who could be sad in a kitchen like this? But the point is...have you ever actually kissed under it?

now inquiring mind wants to know and SEE what a crystal kissing ball looks like. i do love sunshine spots on walls.. if this dark spot was here i would know that bob had been bleeding again. he bleeds all over the house. that is what popped in my head when i saw it. also enquiring mind want to know what it was when you checked it. details, details, details. 😊

I have lots of those less than pretty spots on the walls and throughout my home. Little grandkids put them everywhere... walls, windows furniture...

And I also have the other spots as you do. I have a crystal cake plate that sits on my desk and it useful for keeping small notes and items close at hand. On a sunny morning at just the right moment the sun shines through the front door sidelight and casts little tiny rainbows over my work area. The first time I noticed this was when my daughter came into the room and said, "Mom, you are covered in rainbows!" It only lasts a few moments but when it happens it is so fun.

Hope you have a week full of rainbows!

I know what you are talking about. I have a dream catcher, made by a sweet lady that I have not had the pleasure of meeting yet, but the dream catcher has crystals and when the sun hits it, there are mini rainbows all around the bedroom walls. It looks like fairies have visited :) It always makes me smile.

It is snowing here, with 10 inches expected.

Those are good spots. The other one isn't. I do the same thing and wonder what the heck happened. I never seem to notice at the time it happens. Usually notice when I have company.

Have a fabulous day. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥

I have dog art on my windows where they can reach and cat goobers on the patio doors. Can't win around here. I do love crystals. I have made some and should make more, we are getting more sun than snow and rain, so I am thankful for that, but winter is still here with frost in the mornings. I am looking forward to warmer weather, my arthritis might be more bearable too.

I have a lot of nasty wall spots, but I don't seem to care.
