Silly me

It's a good thing I check up on myself otherwise there would not be a post today. Yesterday I got some pictures ready to use for a blog post and for whatever reason I never wrote the post. I probably got up to get a drink and forgot to come back to it.

Anyway, my original title was going to be what a difference a few days can make. On Tuesday of last week, it looked like this.

5 days later as I'm walking around the yard this is what I see.

I probably shouldn't get too excited but it does at least appear that spring is finally here.

Ah, Mother Nature is a fickle beast. Plants are coming up in spite of the snow because the sun is so darn warm this time of year. The melting snow provides the needed water. Okay...so it was cold water...still...water just the same.

I remember in the 80's, we had snow on April 26, so I'm not surprised at the cold Spring. But...I think we are close to being snow-free now.

I'm happy that you are feeling spring. It's been a long winter indeed. It's finally nice here and I'm loving it.

Enjoy your day off.

Have a fabulous day, Ann. Big hug to you and tons of scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥

Wow! It is such a reaffirmation of life that even in the longest winter, the flowers still return. Are they crocus?

Did I ever tell you I have a love-hate relationship with spring?? Love the flowers, love the birds, but hate the pollen that goes with it! My head is killing me - sinus infection is also headed my way - I know this for a fact!

Happy spring - Katie
