I wandered through a store called Gabes while I was out on Monday. They had a small section with tables and shelves and such. These are crappy pictures because I took them quick with my cell phone but I liked the looks of these. I'm sort of fond of rustic looking things.

Me too. And, I've also liked and wanted a reindeer made from logs.
We went grocery shopping yesterday and a guy was putting out Christmas things. I'm not ready for Christmas.
I love rustic things too. When I was a kid we had rustic things that were new. Funny how that works.

I like wood, especially unpainted wood, but I kinda prefer a sleeker finish, myself. My new desk is 'rustic' and as such the top is not a smooth as it could be (or should be for a desk) but I do like the natural look of it.

I would love to look around this place. Is it very expensive? I really like the farmhouse look. The second picture, I would buy that with everything still on top of it, and put it in my house without changing a thing.

I would have loved walking around that store with you. The stores are so much fun this time of the year . . . I have more Christmas decoration than I need, but it is always fun to look :)
Actually this store had more clothes than anything else but they did have smaller departments through the store

No it's not real expensive. Their prices are pretty reasonable. I think the thing that appealed to me most about the second picture was all the stuff they had displayed there.

I love rustic furniture! I bought a chest that was weathered and my Dad asked me if I was going to send it back - he thought something was wrong with it. Baha.
