On such a winter day.

No matter how hard I wish for it to be spring, winter is still with us. I got home from work and it was cold but at least no snow. Then what happens when my daughter calls and asks if I could take her to work in the morning because her car is in the shop? Yep, it starts snowing.

I know, it's not a lot and it's not snowing that hard but still, it's snowing.

At least for the evening, with no place to go and snuggled up under a blanket, it looks rather pretty.

And just one more before I go.

For me a dusting of snow is too much. It was misty & warm here most of the day & I had cheese with my whine!

i am with Anni, a dusting of snow would cause a whine as does a day of rain. that said, it is really pretty on the trees, i love the last one with it on the needles like that. hope your drive goes well. i don't drive in rain unless i have to, so snow is a no to driving

I would love snow if I never had to go anywhere! It is pretty but that is about it! HA!

January, February and March = UGH. When I was a SAHM, those were the worst months EVER. If I can make it through that, I can make it through anything! Find something new to do...a new craft, make a new recipe...anything. You have to work to spark life at this time of year. Hence, the watercolor class I am taking. It helps.

Best place to experience a winter’s day...behind a pane of glass, in a warm room, with no place to go...♥️

Today you're off work and that's a good thing. I love all your shots, but I'm tired of winter too. It's time for some warm and some sunshine.

Have a fabulous day off, Ann. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥

Snow makes for pretty pictures and it makes the world all soft and quiet and then it needs to go away - fast! I think 24 hours for snow - to come and then leave - leave as in completely gone, gone, gone!

A dusting is more than I care to have also. I've got plenty of whine but no cheese :)

that's exactly how I feel

If I didn't have to work I could find plenty of things to keep me busy inside but I'm sure I would get a bit bored. It would be going out in the cold to go to work in the morning though

Yes and it was nice. I need a big dose of sunshine and a splash of color

Exactly. 24 hours of snow is more than enough :)

It's cold and we're getting more snow here too, but luckily I don't have to go out today. That makes a huge difference. Take care!

Pretty chilly here and lots of clouds. Wednesday sounds like snow, then sleet then freezing rain then rain. Not going to be fun. Your photos do look pretty!

Yes, it does make a big difference. I don't mind the snow nearly as much if I can stay in. I still don't like the cold though

Snow is pretty - I love it on the trees! Snuggled up is definitely the best place to be. :)

it does look gorgeous, but I'm from a country (or part of a country) that doesn't do snow...so to me it always "Looks well"

It only looks pretty if I don't have to go out in it...lol

I suppose I would find more beauty in it if I didn't have to shovel it, drive in it and scrape it off my vehicle
