Taking the next step

Yesterday morning I went to my daughter's house for breakfast. There's nothing quite so delicious as a breakfast cooked by someone else. Of course visiting with Amanda is always a plus too. She's getting a head start on something for next Christmas. She sent me a picture in a text to use for a blog post but I haven't gotten it off my phone yet so I'll blog about that tomorrow.

Since the day was cold and I didn't feel like doing much of anything, I headed back home after leaving Amanda's house. I folded some laundry and then decided to play around in the craft room. My mission was to make a new card. I've seen step cards on Pinterest and though I would give that a try. Rather than cut and score by hand I first played in Cricut design space and made one there so that my machine could do all the work.

Here is the card I ended up with

A view from the side so you can see the "steps".

And a close up of the one heart and xoxo so you can see there's a bit of glitter

This is awesome! It is so fancy, and does not look homemade at all. Anyone would be overjoyed to receive it.

Breakfast does taste far better when someone else fixes it. Good for you.

Have a fabulous day, Ann. Tomorrow is another day off. Big hug to you and tons of scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥

Thanks. It's actually way easier to make than you would think. You can do it without the cricut machine but I like using it

Absolutely. Someone else doing the cooking and the cleaning up always makes the food taste better :)

craft rooms are magic spaces, particularly when something comes together that speaks all of LOVE :-)

Yes they are. I've been trying to clean mine but every time I go in there I see things that distract me.
