A stroll in the park

Oddly enough I came home from work yesterday not feeling the least bit tired. Since Gibbs has been longly looking at his poor neglected leash I thought I would take him for a little walk in the park. We drove to the park so the car ride was an added bonus.
While he sniffed all the new things I took pictures.

I love the bottom picture! I think it is the perspective from which it was shot.

Yea! Nice to get out for a walk, isn't it? We got out on the trail the other night and it was really apparent that summer is waning. So many deadheads on plants and flowers are drying up. Still, it is beautiful.

On another note, I received a lovely b-day card made by YOU the other day! What a treat! It was like a double bonus!

This one is no quite a mile and I could have walked but it was pretty hot so I figured a drive down there would give him two treats in one.

It is nice, I wish it wasn't quite so hot and humid though.
Aw, Happy Birthday. Grace must be using her stash of cards I sent her :)

that's one of my favorite things about blogging. You can visit places you wouldn't ordinarily get to see.
