The last couple days have not gone according to plan. Saturday my intentions were to go to two different craft shows, do a Walmart run and then come home to work on some craft projects. I went to one craft show, hit Walmart and then came home and was totally exhausted. I didn't even manage to get a blog post written.
Sunday morning felt like anything that could go wrong did. Thankfully, after a rough start to the day it got better.
Sometimes that's just the way the cookie crumbles.
In case you are wondering, no I did not bake these this weekend. These cookies are several years old. I just used the picture because although they aren't crumbling, they are cookies.

I like to look on the bright side. You DID get some of the things done!!
Fingers crossed the week goes better than the weekend! I've given up on ambitious schedules, they're a recipe for disappointment.
Sorry you had a bad day ... I'm sure that if you would have had those cookies your day would have been a little bit sweeter.
Hi Ann hope you have lovely days now and no more cookie crumbling days xx
Could have been worse, lol. Have yourself a good week. :)
Yep, some days just don't go the way we intended. Life gets in the way of our plans and often.
I took two of the cookies. They go so well with coffee.
Have a fabulous day off, Ann. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥
I'm so glad your day was salvaged, Ann. You work so hard that I'm guessing on your days off your body wants to simply rest. *hugs* Those cookies are one of my favorites! I don't eat too many cookies anymore, since having Type II diabetes for almost 4 years now.... but I sure remember how good they all are! LOL Love, Andrea xoxo
I think you just planned to much for one day.. what you did was PLENTY for me... I have to pace myself.. 2 craft shows in one day would put me down for the count. when I do WM I don't do anything else that day... you done GOOD
Yeah, that sort of happened to me too. We were going to run a bunch of errands and then learned of local break-ins in our neighborhood. So, we spent the rest of the day fortifying the shed against thieves. Yeah...just what I wanted to do.
Ginny, that's a good way to think
CheerfulMonk it has nowhere to go but up right?
Sheryl, thanks. As for cookies crumbling, they are going to do what they are going to do but I can always scoop those crumbs up and eat em...lol
Sandee, I'm just gonna quit trying to make any plans, I never seem to follow through with them
Lin, Oh no. We've had a lot of that around here too but mostly further out in more secluded spots. I'm right in town with lots of houses around so not a prime target. Although if someone is desperate enough they are going to try and break in anywhere.
Andrea, me too. My days off are very lazy ones any more. I have no energy or ambition at all. I've always loved those cookies but these days I'm trying to stay away from them. Once I start I can't stop
Sorry you had a bad day. Sure hope things get better. Those cookies do look yummy. I took two of them also. Hope your week gets better.
Hate days like that. I got up to one of 'those days' this morning. Glad to be home and plopped down to fold laundry! Love the cookies no matter how old they are. xo Diana
Oh very interesting darling
xx

The best laid plans!!!! Cookies look yummy.
love the metaphor...as you can see, I'm behind again with even reading! apologies...
