After we all ate dinner on Sunday my son was headed outside to have a cigarette. He asked if I had an embrella so I ran and got him one. Because he was outside Presley wanted to go out too. I took her outside and before I knew it we were all outside playing in the rain.
I went in to grab another umbrella for Presley to use although she didn't really mind getting wet. The best part of it all was that her and I did a little puddle jumping.
That wasn't all we did though.

What fun pictures! Playing in the rain is so spontaneous and fun!!! And YOU are such a fun grandma!
What fun! I'm so happy you have these get-togethers. :)
Sweet! Brings back fond, fun memories of youth & innocence. Maybe we should ALL do this....a few minutes of no cares in the world!
I love playing in the rain and I also love waiting through mud puddles. I can't say I have ever jumped a puddle because I always waited right through the middle. Now my curiosity is killing me to as what else y'all did that day.
It's rain again ... alleluia ... LOL
What a sweetheart! She can enjoy the rain so much and I always get annoyed by the rain!
Such fun pictures and oh the memories you are making. I also let my grand doll play in the rain quite a bit and we have done some puddle jumping as well.
What fun! And making memories to.last a lifetime. Sounds like there is going to be a second installment.
How fun. Puddle jumping with your grand is most fun.
I linked this post to Happy Tuesday.
Have a fabulous day, Ann. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥
Sounds perfect and hooray for puddle jumping!
That looks like you and Presley had a lot of fun! I need to do that with my grandsons, too!
Well there you go Grandma - reliving your childhood through your grandchild - doesn't get much better than that!
It's good to see you and Presley enjoying the summer rain and puddles. I love each photo. xoxo
i love it, Ann! Those are pure, joyous moments that money can't buy. I have said I hope my grands remember me grabbing them by the hand and running outside in the rain and splashing in puddles with them. xo Diana
nothing better than puddle jumping and later in Fall/Autumn kicking up leaves!
