At work we have a lot of hand written signs for unadvertised specials. Usually they ask me to make them. Recently someone else made the signs. I walked by an end cap the other day and read one that said Rozoni pasta. As I was going down the isle it hit me that I thought it was Ronzoni. When I checked, sure enough they left the first n out. Then I read the sign on another shelf.
I think these people might want to look at the product to get the correct spelling.

Good grief, that is bad!!
Oops! A small mistake ... can happen!
Don't be so strict, boss! LOL
Enjoy your weekend and relax … everything will be alright!
Dear Ann (good thing your name isn't Abby, I would be writing Dear Abby)...anyway, the end cap on the AISLE not isle. Isle is an island.
signed, laughing out loud
I have seen errors like this in our local newspaper, and in the HEADLINES. and i wondered why someone did not catch it, but I assume the proof reader is the same as the writer. so used to technology they don't know how to spell. i am thankful for spellcheck though, as i type this there is a red squiggle under the word technology above. I transposed 2 letters
LOL...we need to have a blog for posting pics of signs spelled wrong.
We won't go into blogs...my own included. I should proofread mine, but I seldom do. I have put out fell for feel...not even pronounced the same. And all the time catch myself using the wrong here/hear. And I know the difference.
Oh wow! That's bad!
I saw a thing on Facebook that had many different signs with misspellings! Some of them were pretty funny!
Yes, mistakes happen, but they don't reflect well on the management.
Ginny, yes, especially when the word cereal is written right on the box
Ella, I can relate to a mistake in an email, blog post, facebook post or hand written not to someone. When it's on display for customers greater care should be taken. I think it reflects badly on the type of people who work there.
Anni, leave it to you to catch me....lol That's what I get for using my phone to write my post. My fingers are too big for typing on that little keyboard.
CheerfulMonk, that's exactly how I feel. It doesn't just make the person who wrote it look bad, it makes all of us look bad.
there is proper English and then there is American English - and they are often very different with their spelling! Believe me, when you read a magazine/text and my word for "colour isn't the same as your word for color" you soon know all about it :-)
I bet not one customer thought any different...the $-sign said it all...
That's just wrong. Yes they should look at the product!
