Window dressing

Before I get in to todays post I just want to say that the fox in yesterdays post was totally unrelated. The radio station I was listening to was BOB FM.

Now on with the post of the day.

There is this building down the street from me that's been empty for quite some time. Recently somebody started doing window displays for different holidays. I meant to get pictures of their Christmas one and never got to it but I did get pictures the other day of their Saint Patrick's Day window

I love the little leprechaun gnome is this last one

This is a private home? But it is so darling, it is like a store window!!

It will be fun to see how the window is decorated for the different holidays. This is so cute.

It's cute and it's nice that they are doing something in the old empty place.

Awwwwww... how darling! At least some effort is being made to make the building look nice & not so "vacant". I hope it gets filled soon, with a business that will benefit everyone in your community. ~Andrea xoxo

It appears to be an empty building what a great idea to dress it up and make it look good. I can remember a time when every window in the downtown area was always dressed up for holidays and people actually made a living being window dressers. My favorite one is the last one The Gnome in the last picture. We have so many empty buildings here it would take a lot of window dressing

How fun. There are some very artist folks out there.

Have a fabulous day, Ann. Big hug to you and an extra treat for Gibbs. ♥♥♥

Good for them for making it friendly rather than forlorn. 🙂

Interesting....but that means that someone still has a key.

Its adorable that someone is dressing up the window of an empty building. I can't remember the last time I saw a shop window decorated like that. When I was a child my parents would take us and go downtown to window shop without going into the stores. Why and when did we stop doing that?

That's nice that they spruce up the place a bit even though it is empty.
