Mixed bag

Today is just a mixed bag of random thoughts.
Are gas prices absolutely outrageous or what? I've been driving by the gas station looking at the price and thinking I should stop and get gas before the price goes up again. Next morning when I drive by again it's a dime higher. It seems like it's been going up $0.10 every other day. I finally got gas on Tuesday and paid $4.29 a gallon. On Tuesday morning the price was up to$4.39 a gallon.
When will it stop?

Any idea what this is?
It's my morning snack. A yummy pickled egg.
Just a picture of the view I have for most of the day while I'm at work

Today we'll be busy getting an order ready to go out tomorrow for a funeral. The man who works on my oven whenever it breaks down passed away the other day. He will be sadly missed by everyone. I've known him for 25 years and he was just the sweetest, happiest, most positive person I have ever met.

so sad about the nice repair man. I LOVE seeing where you work! Looks like it has nice wide aisles, too.

yikes on the gas, you have a great view of Chocolate Therapy!!!! sad to hear your repairman has passed away, it will be hard to replace him. down here we dread needing anything repaired. I had .guessed the purple thing was a cupcake, no idea what it was. I have seen pickled eggs but never tasted one. Since I love pickles and pickled beets, I might like it but eggs gross me out looking at them. I have to hide my eggs in something to eat them

The close up if your egg looks like cookie dough on a board.

Sorry about the dude that worked on the oven. GAS!!! Nuts. I am not sure what it is right now, not been out in a couple of days. I elected to not go into work for 4 hours today to prevent driving more. Crazy huh? My son paid 5.85 in San Diego. Life sure has gone to hell in a hand basket the last few yrs.

Nothing better for breakfast than a pickled egg, and it has to be purple!

That is sad about the man who worked on your oven. So sorry Ann!

Clever shot of the pickled egg, I would never have guessed what it was. I do love a pickled egg. I have been eating hard-boiled ones for my breakfast the last couple of mornings.

When hubby filled up the tank a couple of days ago it was $4.30.

Interesting with the pickled egg. I was thinking it was cornbread that had been baked. That is sad about the man passing. Was he the one who came out a few weeks ago to work on the oven? I think gas here is about 4.59 a gallon. Certainly will be limiting how much we drive for sure.

Gas prices are high here too and they are going to continue to go up.

Sorry about your friend that passed away.

Have a fabulous day, Ann. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to Gibbs. ♥

GAS PRICES

When will it stop???????????????????

When Biden stops his 'war on fossil fuels'.<--THIS is the reason for high gas prices, and don't believe the lies, that it is not.

The crazy New Green Deal people, wanted this.

But no one can cut off fossil fuels, before developing sustainable alternate energy sources. Wind mills and solar panels are NOT doing it.

It's really sad about the gas prices when we can be self sufficient here and not need gas from anywhere else. I don't think I've ever had a pickled egg. The store looks nice. So sorry about the man passing away who fixed your oven. ((Hugs))

The pickled egg reminds me of pickled beets, which I love. It would be fun to try the egg.

I'm sorry about your oven fellow. He sounds like he was a great guy. 🙁
