This is a bit of a continuation of yesterdays post. Most of you said that I didn't sound rude. I don't necessarily think the words I used were rude so much as it was the tone of my voice. The woman was definitely trying to antagonize me and most likely hoping that she could make me feel small. I had no intentions of letting her do that and my tone had a bit of an aggressive edge to it. After seeing my encounter with this customer, the deli manager said that next time, she will stand up for herself and not take the abusive behavior that this woman likes to dish out.
So yesterday was a pretty lazy day. I spent most of it just sitting around. Amanda did come over and visit with me for a while. Other than that I did a load of laundry and put out some more of my fall decorations. I am definitely done with the decorating now. I have a few more things but if I didn't put it out already it's not going out.
I, of course, am looking forward to having tomorrow off. I don't have any plans to do anything. It may be a repeat of Saturday.

I hope you get a lot of sleep, and spend your day off just goofing around and doing not much of anything. That's what a Sabbath is meant for!
Still ... Her attitude sucks.
The only one that was small was that meal lady. She just wants others to feel as small as she feels.

I like relaxing days. Yesterday we basically did nothing in the afternoon and evening and it was very nice, so however you choose to spend your day off, just enjoy it :)

Started this post before I read yesterdays, so I went back and read that one. I left my thoughts....haha...Like I said, sometimes we have to do what we have to do. I think that you keeping your calm as well as you did was amazing.

Yikes. I just read the encounter. Sounds like she just likes to see how far she can push people. I think she waits for someone to stop her and you did just fine. Not rude at all.
I am just finishing figuring out where I am going to put my regular things after the move, so I wasn't going to do fall decorations. And then I remembered how they shoved moving paper in all of the boxes, so I suppose I should check on my fall stuff to make sure it isn't crushed. I'm really worried about the train boxes...ugh.
Sometimes it takes a bit of a pushback to these people with attitudes. You handled it beautifully.
